Summer comes alive at Glenview!

Summer festivities, nightly activities, and the community spirit that makes Glenview special!

Established

Built on good ground and honest work

Glenview began as a simple idea: create a place where people could escape the noise and find something real. We've held to that through the years, watching families return season after season, building memories in the shadow of Cape Breton's mountains.

In 2023, Glenview's founders retired and the campground was purchased by We'koqma'q First Nations, who now proudly cary on the amazing legacy of the campground!

In the numbers...

Tried and true!

We've been here long enough to know what works. The mountains don't change, and neither does our commitment to the people who come back year after year.

Great hosts, friendly people, clean campground!

Our first trip to the campground and stayed July 26th 27th and 28th. My elderly folks recently set up seasonally at this campground. My fiance, myself and two of our 4 children stayed on site B5 in our pop up camper next to the play ground. The camp ground is very well kept! The seasonal people are very friendly and they often walk the loop around the campground in the evening saying hello and enjoy a little conversation. The pool is well kept and allowed us all the opportunity to cool down on the hottest part of the days. The play ground was great for the kids. During the weekends there plenty of activities for everyone.

Loved it!

We stayed only one night at this campground after driving the Cabot Trail. Very nice location. Great hosts. There is a very nice local restaurant just 1 kilometre from the campground called Charlene’s and they have the best sea food chowder.
